Our client is a remote service provider specializing in optimizing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for multifamily residential buildings and hotels. Their software ensures reduced utility costs and generates revenue from grid services by remotely controlling HVAC systems around the clock, ensuring energy efficiency. As environmental regulations grow stricter, their solution offers an affordable way for buildings to meet these standards while unlocking access to various incentive programs.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontends using ReactJS and backend services in Python
Troubleshoot cross-stack issues and collaborate with team to resolve technical problems
Work closely with cloud engineers to ensure seamless integration with cloud-native architecture
Collaborate with the team to design and implement distributed messaging systems using
RabbitMQ or Amazons SQS
Use APM/Observability tooling to monitor and optimize system performance
Work with Product to design, implement, and refine consistent user experiences and user
interfaces
Focus on UI optimization, accessible design ideologies, and graphic design
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
Nice to Have:
Experience working with data warehouses and ETL pipelines
Experience generating customer-facing reports
Familiarity with building automation systems or building management systems
Familiarity with preparing systems for SOC2 certification and audits
Requirements:
4+ years of professional experience creating responsive frontends with ReactJS
4+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining autonomous test suites (unit,
integration, e2e)
4+ years of professional experience troubleshooting and debugging cross-stack issues
2+ years of professional experience writing Python or JavaScript for backend services
3+ years of professional experience working in a cloud-native environment
2+ years of professional experience working with distributed messaging systems like RabbitMQ
or Amazons SQS
2+ years of working with APM/Observability tooling
3+ years of professional experience creating and maintaining GUI component libraries
Strong understanding of accessible design principles
3+ years of graphic design experience
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
