Our Client is a boutique law firm headquartered in Toronto that focuses on residential real estate law.
Your new role
This will be a fulltime hand-on legal assistant role where you will be required to manage real estate transactions for start to finish. You will be required to deal with clients as well as keep in contact with real estate agents, mortgagees, and other solicitors offices in addition to bank runs. In this role you will also take on some accounting and reception duties.
What you will need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must have minimum of 2+ years relevant real estate experience in a similar capacity. You will have a keen eye for detail and deadlines. You should be willing and eager to learn, work well both independently and with others, and consistently approach the day with energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. You should be well versed with conveyancing. Legal Administration, Law Clerk, or Legal Assistant Diploma is an asset
