• Assist in supervising and interacting with infants, toddlers and pre-school children and parents/caregivers,
• Assist in the planning and carrying out of fun and safe games, crafts, activities, songs, snacks and outings for the children and parents/caregivers,
• Promote healthy and appropriate interactions between the children and adults in the program

• Interest in working with infants, toddlers and pre-school aged children and their parents/caregivers
• Interest or experience in participating/ facilitating games, arts, crafts, exercise activities and music with children
• Must present yourself as mature and a positive role model for the children
• Reliable, friendly, patient, non-judgemental and non-discriminating
• Energetic, creative and committed to the Early Years Centre philosophy

• Staff provide orientation and training before volunteers are placed in the program
• On-going support and development opportunities

• Mon, Tue, Thur, Friday 8:30AM – 4:30PM
• Wednesday 1:00PM – 6:00PM
• Alternate Saturdays: 8:30AM – 4:30PM

• 3 hours per week
• Minimum of 3 months
