Reporting

The Service Technician reports directly to the General Manager of North America.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Load and unload machines and related parts.
  • Oversee machine placement and maintain machine warehouse management.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspection and ensure machines are thoroughly clean prior to shipment.
  • Adhere to the machine delivery protocols.
  • Manage and maintain workshop facilities, ensuring they are properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Install machine attachments and options as required.
  • Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.
  • Support parts warehouse work if needed.
  • Provide repair and maintenance services for dealers and customers when necessary.
  • Complete other related tasks arranged by the manager.

Qualifications

  • Proven service experience with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
  • Technical degree or certification is considered an asset.
  • A driver's license and reliable transportation is required.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Workshop Technician or Service Technician.
  • Experienced using diagnostic tools is required.
