Westlund Cranbrook is currently hiring a full-time salaried Warehouse Associate, located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will be the liaison between our sales team and customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining our commitment to exceptional service.

What you will do:
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with accuracy, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Carefully inspect, receive, and organize incoming inventory.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts.
- Address product discrepancies (e.g., wrong, defective, or damaged items) directly with manufacturers or vendors, managing returns, exchanges, and freight claims to resolve issues efficiently.
- Communicate order status updates with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse by following health and safety guidelines and reporting any hazards.
- Be an integral part of our team and support other duties as required.
What we are looking for:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates.
- Ability to learn and operate material handling equipment.
- A strong work ethic and a desire to continuously learn and grow.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are an asset.
- Forklift experience is an asset, but training will be provided.
- Valid driver's license.
