Reporting to the Controller, this position will expedite the orderly processing and filing of invoices for the accounts payable system, perform reception duties, and other accounting duties as assigned. This position has the opportunity to improve mill processes as a valued member of the administrative group for a one-year term. There is a chance that the contract term could be extended after the end of the initial term.
You'll Do:
- Reception duties including directing internal and external inquiries
- Processing all invoices for payment
- Communicating with mill stores and suppliers as necessary to resolve invoicing issues and review un-entered liabilities
- Periodic Inventory Counts
- Preparation of tracking various reports for the mill
- Providing coverage for Accounts Payable and supporting the Accounting group and Controller as needed
- Vendor maintenance: adding or changing suppliers through communication with corporate
- Preparing and distributing mill wide newsletter
- General office and administrative and accounting duties as required
You have:
- Accounts payable experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
- Effective data entry, keyboarding and calculation abilities
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Possess a self-motivated personality with a passion to problem solve
- Has a desire to progress up to more challenging roles requiring different and varying skills as openings become available within the department
Compensation Package:
- The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The range is between $51,100 and $60,000
- Annual bonus opportunity
