Position Overview:

We are seeking a Loan Monitoring Specialist with 3+ years of experience to join a dynamic team in Toronto. This role offers the opportunity to work with various asset classes in the private sector, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and high-level technical support. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct loan monitoring activities, ensuring that projects remain on budget and schedule while providing regular updates to clients.
  • Review and analyze loan agreements and project documentation to ensure compliance with financial and contractual obligations.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) tasks to ensure accurate project reporting and financial tracking.
  • Attend client meetings and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and addressing any project-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure project milestones and financial goals are met.
  • Prepare detailed loan monitoring reports and recommendations for clients based on project progress and financial health.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in loan monitoring or a related field.
  • Strong QA/QC technical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing top-tier customer service.
  • Experience working with various asset classes, particularly in the private sector (healthcare experience is a plus).
  • Ability to read and interpret loan agreements, financial statements, and construction-related documents.
  • Membership in CIQS or GB is preferred but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing client needs.

Work Environment:

  • 3-month in-office probation period, followed by a hybrid work arrangement.
