POSITION SUMMARY

We are actively looking for a Clinic Supervisor for our Student Massage Clinic to join our Academic Department. The Clinic Supervisor will work closely with the Academic team under the supervision of the Academic Manager.

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for offering exceptional and interactive learning experiences to our students to ensure that they receive up-to-date knowledge and hands-on training in Massage Therapy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide clinical supervision and support to students.
• Update course materials and participate in curriculum review, provide improvements to the curriculum.
• Follow up on clinic inquiries and appointments.
• Ensure assessment is done in a fair and accurate manner.
• Ensure that the clinic remains clean and stocked with sufficient supplies.
• Make sure to maintain clinic equipment and keep accurate logs.
• Maintain grading and attendance reports and other course documentation.
• Work with students experiencing difficulties to enhance their understanding of course material.
• Maintain strong relationships within the industry and encourage students to be updated on the latest trends.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the college.
• Collaborate with other instructional and academic team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of full-time practice experience or the equivalent of part-time experience as a Registered Massage Therapist.
• Diploma and/or degree in the related field.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of massage therapy techniques and practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Demonstrated time-management skills.
• Experience teaching in an educational institution is an asset.
