Nurse Practitioner – Clifford Office

Full-Time (Daytime Hours)

General Description of Position:

The Minto-Mapleton Family Health Team (MMFHT) is seeking a skilled, full-time Nurse Practitioner and team player who is passionate about rural primary care. The Nurse Practitioner will work to full scope of practice at our Clifford site and provide primary care to a panel of 800 patients. While the Nurse Practitioner is expected to function independently, collaboration and open communication with the clinic's existing staff (Receptionist, Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner) is essential. This is an exciting position with considerable variety in a supportive, flexible work environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a health care setting
• ACLS or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable with technology and using an EMR
• Keen ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and team-based skills

Compensation

• $62.65 per hour (37.5 hours per week)
• Paid vacation
• 11 paid stat days and 2 paid wellness days

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to our Clifford office
• Up-to-date vaccinations (or willing to get up-to-date)
