Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Steamfitter to join our Clients team near Aurora, ON. The position will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems across various settings.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to plan piping layouts.
Cut, thread, and shape pipes as per system designs.
Join pipes using welding, brazing, soldering, or gluing techniques.
Inspect and test installed piping systems.
Repair and maintain systems by replacing worn components.
Collaborate with other construction personnel on-site.
Skills
Proficient in rigging and welding pipes.
Strong mechanical knowledge for fabricating and assembling structures.
Skilled in using calipers for precise measurements.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and technical drawings.
Proficient in hand tools for pipefitting tasks.
Capable of building and maintaining piping systems.
Requirements
TIG and SMAW experience (TSSA certification preferred).
Must possess Steamfitter trade certification; third- or fourth-year apprentices considered. (307A Steamfitter Certificate of Qualification preferred)
5 years in steamfitting and mechanical knowledge required
Some personal tools required.
Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required.
