Job Overview:

Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is looking for Heavy Duty Specialized Project Cleaner for an immediate position located within the Smiths Falls area. Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 500 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Must have 2 forms of current ID (drivers license, passport, Ontario resident card) has to be one of the approved

· Work is done within the OPP station itself

· Work is done during the day for 2-hour segments between the hours of 9am and 4pm (Wednesday and Fridays)

· Must pass the OPP specific security check, working in the small Forensic Lab

· Will be working within the OPP station

· Must take a simple physical examination and paperwork and pass (not difficult but you must know all your current medications for the doctor to consider)

· Must take a type 2 half mask certification, so any males can not have facial hair or the seal won't pass

· Must be willing to work in white PPE for the forensic lab room specifically

· Must be able to lift 40 pounds without issue

· Must take a 3-to-4-hour lead safety awareness course (which we can give as I have a certified one from an instructor), but must go through the whole thing

· Will have to give an initial blood test to baseline their current lead levels in the system

· Will then have to take 2 blood tests per year as part of a monitoring program

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Previous cleaning/janitorial experience an asset

· Must be able to lift 40lbs plus on a regular basis

· Must be able to communicate in English

· Reliable

· Legally allowed to work in Canada
