Salary:

We are seeking a motivated and strategic Business Development Manager to lead our national business strategy, enhance client relationships, and support our team in achieving operational excellence. This role is crucial in fostering growth, ensuring effective communication with clients, and maintaining our CRM system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and project management, with excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Develop and execute the national business strategy to meet annual team targets and forecast accordingly.
  • Oversee the public project list and nurture opportunities for growth.

Client Communication:

  • Foster and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and timely follow-ups.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide necessary information to ensure a seamless client experience.

HubSpot Data Management:

  • Maintain and update the HubSpot CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date client information.
  • Conduct daily reviews of tasks and updates within the CRM.

Team Support:

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive operations within the Business Development department.
  • Provide support for various ad hoc tasks to contribute to the team's overall objectives.
  • Attend weekly 1:1 meetings to coach and mentor team members.

Division Office Engagement:

  • A Target: Attend monthly check-in meetings with local project contacts, leading the meeting and setting the agenda.
  • B Target: Attend quarterly check-in meetings, leading discussions with project contacts.
  • C Target: Participate in semi-annual meetings, where local project contacts will lead discussions.

Project Appointments:

  • Schedule appointments up to 18 months in advance for client relations.
  • Act as a door opener for $500k+ opportunities, leading initial meetings and coordinating follow-ups for client relations to sell.

Territory Coverage Appointments:

  • A Target: Schedule meetings with each school every 6 months.
  • B Target: Schedule meetings with each school every 9 months.
  • C Target: Schedule meetings with each school every 12 months.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in business development or sales.
  • Proficient in HubSpot CRM or similar data management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
