The Opportunity
We are hiring Equipment Operators to operate various snow-clearing equipment in response to snow events. The Equipment Operator will operate equipment such as a Snowplow, Skid-Steer, Front End Loader, and Sanding Truck.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Operates Snowplows, Skid Steers, Front-End Loaders, and Sanding Trucks to provide customers with prompt snow clearing, snow removal, and ice control services.
- Load, move, and unload snow and ice during winter for residential and commercial customers.
- Follow standard operating procedures safely and responsibly.
- Responding to snow events in a timely manner, providing prompt snow clearing and ice control services for Customers.
- Performing daily pre-usage and post-usage inspections of equipment to ensure equipment remains in working operational condition and does not pose a safety hazard to other employees, Customers, or the public.
- Complete minor repairs and maintenance procedures of equipment as required to ensure equipment is kept in good working condition.
- Weather dependent when snow accumulates to 1 inch, then that's our trigger point for clearing.
- Mainly night work. 8 pm - 7 am. We have a few day positions as well.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience clearing snow with plow truck, loader or skid steer.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required with a clean Drivers Abstract.
- 500+ hours on Skid Steer
- 500+ hours on Loader
- Complete our in house orientation & training program.
- Cell phone with data plan for mobile completion of sites.
- Transportation to and from work.
- Available day or night and on holidays/weekends. (Day or night shift available)
- This is a part-time seasonal job that is weather dependent. Therefore you must be ok with the possibility of part-time hours or full-time hours depending on snowfall and 1 inch triggers.

Working Conditions:
- Regularly lift 50 lbs of materials.
- Safety sensitive position.
- Must wear applicable personnel protective equipment at all times (i.e., safety glasses, steel toed boots) when required.
