Health and Safety Coordinator
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to manage, lead and support health and safety activities. This role ensures compliance with regulations and company policies while promoting a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain health and safety systems in collaboration with the HSEQ team.
- Support day-to-day health and safety requirements and special projects.
- Maintain safety records, incident reports, and related documentation.
- Coordinate and deliver health and safety training programs.
- Participate in safety audits and initiatives to improve workplace safety.
- Ensure contractor safety compliance and support safety committee activities.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial or mining setting.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, organizational, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel to various work sites as needed.
