• Keeping up to date with all standard operating procedures and guidelines
• Receiving, evaluating, and prioritizing emergency and non-emergency calls/alarms
• Providing communication, liaison services, operational support, and inter agency coordination
• Directing the deployment of emergency units
• Collaborating with site health centre staff, emergency service personnel, health & safety, and security to ensure rapid deployment of emergency services
• Completing appropriate documentation and records pertinent to the emergency services department
• Entering data in computer systems and maintain logs, records, and reports as required
• Maintaining complete and accurate employee health records respecting security, privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 1 year emergency dispatch experience (in Oil & Gas preferred)
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or equivalent)
• Compliance with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy, including pre-access testing

• Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) course certification within expiry date
• Emergency Fire Dispatcher (EFD) course certification within expiry date
• Secondary School Diploma or academic equivalent
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite of programs
