The Opportunity

Duliban Insurance Brokers is looking for a Benefits Specialist to join our growing team. Working closely with Principal Brokers and Leadership, this person will work to service and support existing clients in the benefits space while maintaining a superior client experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients within a proactive service model, ensuring best in class service
  • Service and support the retention and renewal process
  • Support onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition
  • Manage plan member eligibility (if required) in a Benefits Administration platform
  • Educate clients and administer plans by way of carrier guidelines and policy plan design
  • Manage claim and coverage inquiries when applicable
  • Manage plan amendments, coordinating with the Group Benefits Manager and carriers
  • Support clients with carrier systems access and usability; provide support when needed
  • Maintain accurate client documents
  • Administer, service and promote the benefit plan of Duliban Insurance Brokers Ltd in collaboration with the Manager of Human Resources

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience with group benefits is strongly preferred, with a minimum of at least 2 years in a related customer service role
  • Exemplifies exceptional communication and organizational skills utilizing various platforms
  • Possesses the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to embrace change
  • Has mastered presentation skills and can confidently relay educational items to small audiences
  • Is enrolled in or has completed a Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation
