As our new Property Care Account Manager you will be responsible for meeting client needs, monitoring garden quality and providing exceptional client care. Your role will encompass customer service, contract management, horticultural consulting, sales, estimating, quality oversight and collaboration.
If you were working for us, here are some of the things you would have done last week:
- Establish effective communication with customers, show we care about their plants and make them feel secure in our hands
- Deliver customer service according to “The Hutten Way”
- Build client loyalty through strong communication, meeting their needs and providing appropriate, desirable solutions
- Conduct site walks with client, uncovering issues, finding sales opportunities, noting their priorities and ensure they are consistently met
- Regularly Conduct plant health and aesthetic assessments of gardening properties and prescribe appropriate plant health care treatments for gardening team
- Develop yearly care plan, organized by month for each site, reducing client communication, and preventing important tasks from being overlooked
- Proactively meet with ongoing design build projects to successfully convert them into gardening clients to develop the design vision
- Collaborate with production manager on the execution of details, providing all necessary information to handoff for gardening crews
- Ensure that the property meets customer and company expectations in terms of aesthetics, beauty and function

The Details
This is a full-time permanent job, working mainly in Owen Sound, Ontario. When you're not in the office, you'll travel to job sites in the surrounding areas.
We recognize that our ideal candidate may come from outside the area, and so relocation assistance is available. Qualifications
We are considering candidates from a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. Ideally, here's what we're looking for:
- 5+ years of garden maintenance experience in a supervisory role
- A formal educational background in horticulture, landscape architecture, construction technology, construction/project management, or similar
- Strong computer skills with ability to learn new software and programs quickly
- Valid driver's license
And if you have the following it would be a bonus:
- Experience with Landscape Management Network
- Experience using any CRM
- Experience using Smartsheet software
