Senior Associate, Tax Advisory

Our client, a top Canadian accounting firm, has over 40 years of experience supporting public companies across a variety of industries

Key Responsibilities:

• Research tax-related issues and analyze potential impacts.
• Assist in developing tax-planning strategies and review complex tax returns.
• Collect and evaluate financial and tax data for compliance and planning purposes.
• Collaborate on engagement timelines, risk assessments, and project documentation.
• Identify discrepancies in tax filings and assist in preparing election forms.
• Support business development efforts by identifying new client opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a senior tax role.
• CPA designation complete or in progress; pursuing the CPA in-depth tax program or MTAX is a strong asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Client service experience is a plus.
• Fluency in additional languages is an asset.
