Summary

The Sales Area Manager reports to the SVP of Worldwide Sales. This position is a B2B role that sells technology solutions to enterprise & mid-market businesses through the development and execution of tactical sales strategies that highlight the strengths of GoSecure's products and services. This position is responsible of all the Account Executives in assigned region, they need to bring support to the team and make sure they are on track to meet their quotas.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by managing and closing sales and achieving monthly quotas within a defined geographic territory or vertical market.

• Manage and oversee the daily sales operations of Account Executives that are assigned to a particular geographic area.

• Ensuring sales quotas of the area are achieved.

• Develop effective sales strategies.

• Follow up on and qualify sales opportunities for himself and his team, including detailed needs analysis, product overview, and potential solution fit within assigned territory.

• Coordinate and participate in product demonstrations and presentations.

• Provide technical assistance to prospects during the product evaluation phase, including coordination with Technical Support and Sales Engineers.

• Create custom proposals.

• Provides timely follow-up, closure and tracking of all sales in Salesforce.com. Professional presentations by video and in-person required.

• Some travel required.

Requirements and Experience

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience required.

• 7 years sales experience preferably in a SaaS, software, or technology solution environment.

• Proven experience working as a territory sales manager

• Possess a proven track record of managing, retaining, & establishing new business including prospecting & territory building.

• Ability to sell to high level decision makers and technical influencers.

• Hunter mentality.

• Creative/think-out-of-the-box mentality.

• Strong work ethic and desire to overachieve.

• Strong interpersonal phone skills essential.

• Must have excellent computer skills, including MS Office suite, Salesforce or a comparable CRM.

• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with key decision makers.
