Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and versatile Copywriter to join our marketing team. This role involves creating engaging, persuasive, and informative content that drives sales and enhances the customer experience across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for writing, a deep understanding of e-commerce, and experience in producing high-converting copy for different types of advertisements and landing pages.

Key Responsibilities:

These are the 5 main activities you will be writing copy for.

  1. Creative Briefs for Static Ads:
    • Develop concepts, headlines, and supporting copy for static advertisements.
    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual and textual elements are cohesive and compelling.
  2. Creative Briefs for UGC Video Ads:
    • Write scripts, shot scenes, hooks, and calls-to-action (CTAs) for user-generated content (UGC) video ads.
    • Work with influencers and content creators to ensure the video content aligns with the brand's voice and marketing goals.
  3. Ad Copy for Social Media Ads:
    • Craft engaging captions, descriptions, and headlines for social media advertisements across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and others.
    • Optimize copy to maximize engagement, clicks, and conversions.
  4. Landing Pages:
    • Write headlines, listicles, long-form sales copy, and hero page content that effectively communicates the value proposition and drives conversions.
    • Optimize CTAs to improve user experience and conversion rates
  5. Email & SMS
    • Work with our retention team to help create compelling email and SMS campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably in the e-commerce industry
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to create engaging and persuasive content that aligns with the brand voice.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
