Salary: $63,000 to $68,000

You will

  • Lead a small team of Accounts Payable Administrators
  • Coordinate the collection, coding, approval and payment process of invoices in a fast-paced environment
  • Sort, match and scan invoices with supporting backup
  • Perform Contract Management including reconciling progress draws and facilitating retention release based off current legislation
  • Perform accurate data entry of payables into AP processing system
  • Process manual cheques and e-filing
  • Maintain vendor records
  • Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
  • Complete Vendor Statement reconciliations and follow up, when needed
  • Assist with preparation of monthly GST filing
  • Perform general administrative duties and ad-hoc projects as required

You have

  • 1 - 3 years of accounting/administrative-related experience, preferably in the construction or real estate sector
  • Some post-secondary education in Accounting
  • A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
  • An excellent attitude and a sense of humour!
  • Strong competency in Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Exceptional organizational skills, accuracy and multi-tasking abilities
  • Proven ability to work in team
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Experience with Yardi (an asset)
