Role Overview:
The Events and Entertainment Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the guest experience by planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events and entertainment activities. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for creativity, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering unforgettable moments for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning and Execution: Design and implement a diverse range of events, including themed parties, holiday celebrations, and special guest appearances. Ensure all events align with our family-friendly atmosphere and exceed guest expectations.
  • Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team of entertainment staff, including performers, activity coordinators, and support personnel. Provide training, performance feedback, and career development opportunities to foster a high-performing team.
  • Coordination with Departments: Collaborate with other departments such as Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Guest Services to ensure seamless event execution and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
  • Guest Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests. Solicit feedback to continuously improve event offerings and address any concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table to keep the event calendar vibrant and exciting. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into event planning.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for events and entertainment activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in event management or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field. Professional certifications in event management are a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and senior management.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges with poise and efficiency.
  • Passion for Guest Experience: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Creativity and enthusiasm for creating fun, engaging, and memorable events are essential.
