Job Summary

Agrisan is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Maintenance Technician/General Labourer. The candidate is responsible for supporting the Preventative Maintenance Program and will fulfill other duties which include material handling, assembly/disassembly, filling and sanitation of packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment and general facility maintenance
• Responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining heating and cooling systems
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments
• Involvement in a variety of packaging-related activities including filling, assembly, disassembly, maintenance, recycling;
• Must meet physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, lifting heavy objects, climbing, and operating tools and equipment;
• Follows all site procedures (safety, good manufacturing practices, work instructions);
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

To perform work related to:

• HVAC system operation and maintenance
• Plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs
• Welding, carpentry, and painting skills
• Grounds maintenance
• Other related duties as assigned/required

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures;
• Works cooperatively in teams communicates clearly and has effective listening skills;
