The Designer will work our projects focused on the North or communicating to the Inuit community. The primary responsibility of this role is to conceptualize and create impactful creative in various mediums to deliver our strategic creative approach. Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the team to provide designs that align with the creative brief
- Expert use of Adobe Suite
- Develop and contribute creative ideas, layouts, designs and concepts for all print and digital media choosing appropriate style to meet client objective and working within established brand style guides.
- Working on a variety of traditional, digital and motion campaign assets
- Responsible for working and managing tight timelines and within budget.
- Quality control to ensure final work conforms to brand guidelines or client requirements in the correct formats and to expected standards.
- Guiding internal and external resources to ensure creative is at the highest standard and assisting in making recommendations
- You have expert attention to detail
- Participates in briefs with both internal and external stakeholders
We're looking for someone with:
Must have:
- Portfolio – concept, campaign, design, direction
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience as a designer and/or art director using the above noted skills
- Adobe Creative Cloud
Nice to have:
- Experience in developing culturally appropriate, trauma informed creative in the Indigenous space
