Duties and Responsibilities:
Robot programming. Fanuc, Motoman, Star robots. New and existing equipment.
PLC and HMI programming. Beckhoff, Omron, Allen Bradley.
Vision system programming. Keyence, Cognex, Fanuc.
Ability to create and modify electrical drawings (AutoCAD & EPlan).
Low voltage control panel build – control panel wiring.
Robot integration using Fanuc, Motoman and Star robots.
Setup and maintain communication networks Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT and PROFINET networks.
Installation and corrective maintenance of automated equipment. machine robotics, assembly equipment, packaging and conveying equipment, vision inspection systems.
Provide technical advice & assistance to maintenance personnel, contractors, etc.
Support injection specialists during new product launch and upgrade installations.
Read electrical schematics and equipment documentation.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications

Education
Robotics and Automation diploma, Technologist diploma in Electrical engineering, Industrial Electrician license, Electronics Technician Certificate or equivalent training and experience.
Language Skills
English and able to communicate well with others.
Ability to communicate with skilled trades at all levels of experience and management
Reasoning Ability
Ability to exercise balanced judgment in evaluation situations and making decisions
