JOB TITLE: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

REPORTS TO: Resident Care Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

In keeping with the Mission, Vision and Values of PPSL, the LPN/RPN, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, uses the nursing process and applies his/her nursing knowledge, skills and clinical judgment in performing assessments, planning, implementing and providing quality and person-centred nursing care to the residents. The LPN/RPN operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice as outlined by the relevant provincial governing body's practice standards and Code of Ethics and PPSL policies and procedures.

The LPN/RPN practices in a setting where the client care needs are established and changes in health condition are predictable and ensures a commitment to PPSL's “culture of safety.”

Job Type: Full-time, part-time, casual Copper Sky Seniors Community in Spruce Grove, AB is looking for LPNs to assess, plan, implement and provide quality and person-centred nursing care to our Residents. You will also participate in the Home's quality improvement initiatives and processes. We need creative thinkers who puts resident service first, is a strong communicator, and committed to “Best Practice” in Clinical Care.

Qualifications include: Fully vaccinated of COVID-19; Active practice registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta and one year of recent related experience. Experience in a seniors care environment an asset. Effective communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $29.72-$37.03 per hour

Schedule:12 hour shift / 8 hour shift

Education: Secondary School, Current CPR, Current CLPNA #
