POSITION: General Machinist

DURATION: Full time, Permanent

LOCATION: Oakville, ON

SHIFT: Days or Afternoons: Monday to Thursday

Qualifications:

• Industrial Machinist Trade Certificate considered an asset.
• Experience operating lathe and milling machines required, with proficiency in reading AutoCAD and Inventor prints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, effective communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must have manual machining experience with both mills and lathes

Overview:

• Set up and operate various machine tools including engine lathes, CNC lathes, machining centers, and milling machines.
• Machine steel workpieces to blueprint specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
