Box Office Supervisor / Specialist

AdmitONE is a fast growing ticketing company that has become an industry specialized in hospitality, events, and live entertainment. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a dynamic Box Office Supervisor / Specialist to our team.

The Box Office Supervisor / Specialist will supervise and provide on site support to AdmitONE clients in execution of events from a Box Office perspective as well as office support for online Customer Service.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, hire and supervise staff at a temporary Box Office in Surrey, BC from Nov 21 - Dec 23, 2024 (40 hours/week). This will include but not be limited to selling tickets, running reports and scanning tickets for timed entry.
  • Help launch/support new ticketing clients for their first event with support from the Regional Director of Sales West all year round.
  • Provide support and assistance to the Managers in all areas of Box Office and ticketing operations including ticket processing using AdmitONE
  • Work and help supervise in various venues for in-person ticket sales and answering guest questions via email and in person about AdmitONE, their clients and their events in the greater Vancouver Area.
  • Communicate with FOH supervisor and production manager pre-show to ensure all event information is received and understood
  • Run show reports and effectively explain audits to promoters and venues as needed
  • Maintain a Customer Service Help email Inbox for online customers of AdmitONE 1 to 1.5 days per week.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive approach to ticketing activities at the Box Office with a strong commitment to superior customer service
  • Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Our shows and events take place in the evenings, during weekends and on holidays. As a result, flexibility to work these shifts is required
  • Some experience in supervising staff is required.
  • This role will be mostly at various venues across with GVA with the exception of the Nov 21 - Dec 23rd event in Surrey. The ability to be onsite at each venue location will be required with access to the administrative offices at Nelson Square when needed.
