partner staffing on behalf of our Client is looking for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer Level III. You will be responsible for leading the electrical design and analysis for commercial and mixed-use projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that electrical systems are designed to meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and sustainability.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems, for commercial and mixed-use buildings. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
  
• Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and other team members to integrate electrical designs with other building systems. Participate in coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and optimize system performance.
  
• Provide advanced technical expertise in electrical engineering. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, and review their work to ensure accuracy and quality.
  
• Incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable practices into electrical designs. Explore and implement innovative solutions that reduce energy consumption and enhance system performance.
  
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations. Present design concepts, provide technical recommendations, and address any client concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Oversee the quality control process for electrical design and installation. Conduct site inspections to ensure systems are installed according to design specifications and industry standards.
  
• Prepare detailed electrical design documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all deliverables are completed on time.
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on commercial and mixed-use projects. Experience in the Vancouver or BC market is preferred.
  
• Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP).
  
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  
• Certifications: Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in British Columbia is required.
