Job Title: 3rd Year Carpenter / Form Setter

Location: AECON Industrial Site, Strathcona County, Alberta

Wage: $35 - $40 per hour

Hours:

6 days a week, 12 hours a day.

Overtime is paid after 8 hours a day and 44 hours a week.

Job Description:

We are seeking a 3rd year carpenter to join our team at the AECON industrial site in Strathcona County. The successful candidate will be responsible for building forms and setting sono tubes. This position requires a high level of expertise in carpentry, particularly in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Constructing and setting up concrete forms

- Installing and securing sono tubes

- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics

- Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and building codes

- Collaborating with other trades and site supervisors

- Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit materials

- Measuring, marking, and arranging materials according to plans

- Inspecting and repairing structures as necessary

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in industrial construction

- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job

- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
