The Role:

The role of Account Manager is both a dynamic and crucial position to ensuring our shipping process runs smoothly — it's the ultimate puzzle-solver's dream job! In this position, you'll collaborate closely with our sales executives, managing their transportation requests and overseeing the shipping process from start to finish. Your key responsibilities will include identifying shipment needs, working with carrier partners, negotiating, handling order entry, and most importantly, solving any problems that arise. As an Account Manager, you'll be essential in making sure everything goes according to plan or quickly finding solutions when things don't go as expected. We're looking for conscientious self-starters with strong analytical skills and a talent for teamwork. This is an in-office position: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM-5PM

You Will:

  • Plan and coordinate freight shipments with our carrier partners using phone and email.
  • Build strong, genuine relationships with carriers built on a foundation of trust and camaraderie.
  • Enter orders into our systems, track, and trace shipments, and work collaboratively with the team to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to deliver exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Provide quotes and negotiate terms with customers and carriers.

You Have:

  • A post-secondary education in relevant field or relatable industry experience
  • Is familiar with various software's including CRMs
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word
  • Advanced organization and time management skills
  • An analytical mindset with a firm understanding of current and future market trends.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The willingness to learn the ins and outs of a niche industry.
  • The ability to connect with people.
  • A determined mindset with a go-getter team attitude.
