As the Media Buyer/Trafficker your responsibility is to support media activities at AdFarm. As a liaison between departments, this individual ensures continuous flow, accuracy and timely delivery of all media projects. This position is accountable for developing and maintaining accurate media schedules, obtaining all necessary approvals, and delivering creative assets. Keys to success in this position include commitment to regular internal and external communication, willingness to pitch in and consistent status updates on all projects. The Media Buyer/Trafficker will have knowledge and understanding of all research and media evaluation tools, market conditions, and opportunities to ensure effective media buys.

You'll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:

  • Work with an integrated team of marketing professionals to achieve client media objectives
  • Ensure creative materials and resources flow through the agency in a timely manner and meet all required deadlines
  • Communicate with media team, project managers, and account teams on deadlines, status of projects, and issues that arise during the production phase of campaign creative
  • Maintain current knowledge of all industry best practices for the role
  • Maintain directory of vendor contacts, specs, and ad submission requirements/protocol
  • Update and maintain production specs and contacts; as well as sales reps by vendor
  • Track media deadlines and communicate specifications for print, digital, outdoor, radio, and TV advertising to teams
  • Set up, execute, and manage media buys in MediaOcean (media buying platform)
  • Send Insertion Orders to the media vendors and liaise with them for confirmations or availability issues
  • Bring energy, determination and drive to AdFarm's media relations to produce strong result-oriented initiatives
  • Work with Account team to ensure client feedback and changes are reflected in all required documents, plans, and executions
  • Obtain the best advertising rates that fit with the agreed media strategy. Prepare alternative options for the media lead and client.

  • Bachelor's degree, focus in communications, marketing, journalism or similar
  • Experienced in offline and online media platforms
  • Solid experience across various digital channels (Display, Mobile, Video, Programmatic, Search, and Social)
  • A self-starter in being able to execute buys based on approved client strategies
  • EXCELLENT time management and organization
  • Agriculture knowledge a very strong asset
  • Proficient across all major social media channels (organic and paid)
  • Team player and a critical thinker
