Responsibilities
- Assess and survey projects
- Lead a small crew for landscape construction, tree planting, fencing, grading/excavation, mulch installs, planting projects ect.
- Efficiently plan and execute horticultural tasks, including planting, treatment, pruning, and care
- Handle and transport nursery stock, manage soil and sod tasks, fertilize, and maintain equipment
- Must be able to operate a large truck with large trailer safely and effectively
- Equipment floating experience
- Assist in landscape construction, track job metrics, and ensure safety compliance
- Adhere to all company and local regulations
- Engage courteously with customers
- CLEAN AND VALID G CLASS LICENSE - MANDATORY
- Completed college or vocational training with Horticulturist, Landscape Construction Certification, CLT or CHT Certification
- 3-5 years experience in the field along with leading people
- Proficient in plant identification, especially trees and shrubs
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Physically fit with stamina; must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Skilled in measurement, safety, detail-oriented tasks, problem-solving, and communication
- Requires working near heavy machinery, outdoors in varying conditions, and flexible hours, including weekends
- Proficient in English
