Job Description

Accountabilities:

  • Dispensing and distribution of medications (including individual patient prescriptions, ward stock and narcotics), non-sterile and sterile compounding (including TPN, CIVA and chemotherapy preparation) inventory control
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Currently licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians preferred
  • Experience with CIVA and/or chemotherapy preparation considered an asset
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal and written skills
  • Computer experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
  • Experience in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile products preferred
  • May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
  • Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration

Additional Information

Hours: Currently Days/Evenings, 8 hours including weekend and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
