POSITION: HR Generalist

Overview:
Provides HR leadership and support for Canadian operations, serving as a key resource for managers and staff.
Develops and manages HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws and overseeing health & safety programs.
Supports recruitment, performance management, employee training, and handles employment-related concerns.
Oversees payroll, benefits administration, and employee records, ensuring accurate processing and compliance.
Maintains HRIS, generates reports, and offers strategic recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources with CHRP/CHRL certification preferred and at least three years of relevant experience.
Previous experience working within a unionized work environment
Skilled in HR policy development, benefits administration, and collective agreement management in unionized environments.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities within specialized HR functions, particularly in manufacturing.
