Founded in 1991 by Rob Nicolucci in his home office, RN Design Limited has evolved into an award-winning firm. It is a firm of innovative designers which aspire to create trend setting exterior and interior home designs for families across Canada.
Active in the Greater Toronto Area for 30+ years, RN Design Limited has been influential in designing new residences of all forms and styles. Our portfolio includes almost 5000 home designs/working drawings and fifteen thousand lot grading plans in approximately 150 communities.

Who we are looking for:
Located in Vaughan, Ontario, with easy access to transit, RN Design Limited is looking for a Residential Designer to join our dynamic organization that focuses on developing people!
We are looking for a candidate that has a passion for creativity in the residential design industry, strong design skills, business acumen to drive projects with clients, strong communication both written and verbal as well as strong organizational skills
We are looking for more than a checklist of experience, we are hiring for attitude, drive, and people skills.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to lead the company's design projects working on conceptual designs and communicating directly with clients to present design concepts
- Responsible for developing strong client relationships to ensure client satisfaction with consistent communication and follow up
- Responsible to manage multiple deadlines ensuring projects stay within projected timelines and communicating with clients and Senior Management on progress in a timely manner
- Responsible to work closely with Project Managers to ensure design concepts are developed into working drawings
- Responsible for contract documentation including municipal approvals, drawing reviews, and conducting site visits
Skills & Experience Required:
- Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Architectural Design
- 5+ years of experience in Residential design
- Strong knowledge of OBC, BCIN is an asset
- Strong AutoCAD skills and MS Office software
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills with a strong ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong business acumen and high standard of quality, accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong initiative skills and ability to adapt in consistently changing environment
- Strong attention to detail during times of limited supervision

- Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5:30pm; Fridays 8:00am - 12:00pm (all year!)
