Our in-house design departments include Architecture, Interior Design and Experiential Graphic Design. In addition, we have a Digital Practice Department, who commits to the implementation of BIM, research + development, and the infusion of cutting-edge technology into our projects and practice.

Who Are We Looking For

As a Designer, you blend creativity with technical skills to support project teams in creating visually appealing and functional designs. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you contribute to various stages of the design process, from conceptualization to producing detailed drawings. This role offers you the opportunity to learn and apply design principles and software tools while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to bring innovative design solutions to life.

What You Will Do

  • Create design concepts and/or development of detailed plans and construction drawings, leveraging Building Information Modeling ensuring adherence to project requirements and design intent.
  • Gather and assess documentation provided by external stakeholders and integrate relevant information into design deliverables as directed.
  • Acquire all necessary materials and conduct research as directed by Project Manager to support the project's progression and ensure well-informed design decisions.
  • Develop current knowledge of updates and changes to building codes, by-laws, and regulations, ensuring that design decisions align with the latest standards and requirements.
  • Revise and improve designs based on mark ups and feedback, with a focus on contributing to the project's success through continuous improvement and attention to detail.

What You Will Bring

  • Degree/Diploma from an accredited institution in Architecture.
  • 1 - 3 years of progressively more responsible roles within Architecture firms.
  • Proficient experience in Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of applicable building codes and municipal by-laws with experience in the municipal approval process.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid role, with 2 days in the Studio.
