AV Installation Technician
Location: Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, and surrounding areas
Our client, a leader in smart home and business technology solutions, is seeking an experienced AV Installation Technician to join their team. You'll install and maintain advanced AV systems, including home automation, security cameras, and business presentation setups.

• $25-$35 per hour, based on experience
• Job Type/Shift: Temporary to Full Time
• Monday to Friday schedule (no weekends or nights).

What You'll Do:

• Install and maintain a variety of AV systems including camera systems, security systems, and home automation setups.
• Perform site inspections, equipment installations, trimouts, networks and automated shades.
• Install, setup and train clients on equipment, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.
• Manage and complete scheduled tasks accurately and timely, using tools such as Jobber for task tracking.
  

What We're Looking For:

• Experienced AV Installation Technician with 3+ years of AV Installation Experience
• Skilled in installing and maintaining audio-visual equipment, including site inspections, cable pulling, rack installation, and system setup.
• Working Knowledge of Control4 and/or Lutron programming; Clare Controls experience is a bonus.
• Knowledgeable about complex wiring, signal flow, networks and construction site environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently, follow safety protocols, and provide excellent customer service.
  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• CTS Training and a current driver's abstract.
• Clear Criminal background check
• Must currently live within 50 km of Edmonton, Sherwood Park, or St. Albert.
• Must provide own basic tools and speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
