Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous Plumbing commercial and light industrial estimating experience working with a general or mechanical contractor
• Fluent in reading mechanical, electrical, process and control drawings, & civil drawings
• Proven ability to close complex tenders, bids and proposals
• Computer proficiency including experience with MS Office and estimating software packages
• Solid team player with a positive attitude
• Attention to detail and strong time management skills
• Thrives on managing multiple priorities and project deadlines
• Proficient with developing resource loaded project schedules
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Manage all aspects of the Plumbing bidding phase during tendering
• Finalize and compile tender documents for review and submission
• Interpret documentation, specifications, and drawings
• Prepare quantity take-offs for labour and material costing
• Prepare BOMs to support procurement requirements
• Prepare submission schedules and manpower loading profile, review and evaluate vendor and sub-contractor quotes
• Establish and maintain vendor and subcontractor relationships
