Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product, engineering and external stakeholders' teams to design digital interfaces for Internal Audit. Including but not limiting to website, site maps, user flows and low and high-fidelity wireframes (90% Desktop)
- Negotiate and communicate effective challenge in a professional and courteous manner to optimize user experience and business outcomes.
- Design reusable and scalable user interface patterns which provides engineering and end users with level of consistency.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog, support the creation of detailed user stories and participate in sprint planning and review activities. Engage with the scrum teams daily, clarifying questions and helping with decision making.
- Ensure designs adhere to best practices, including industry standards for web and mobile sites, emerging technologies, UX design techniques, accessibility, and usability.
- Complete QA checks to ensure high fidelity design is accurately represented in implementation.
- Ability to interpret data and leverage those insights to inform design decisions.
- Multi-task and contribute to ongoing projects, often with quick turnaround times as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Experience: 3-5 years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile and web application design.
- Design Systems: Proven experience in creating and maintaining design systems.
- Figma Expertise: 3+ years of expert-level proficiency in Figma, including nested components, auto layout, and design libraries.
- Prototyping & Wireframing: Skilled in building wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Clean Design Aesthetic: A keen eye for clean, minimalist, and user-centric design.
- Creativity: Strong creative thinking skills and the ability to think outside the box to solve design challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to design, ensuring pixel-perfect layouts and consistent design language.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- CSS: proficiency a plus
