About The Role

Bosa Properties is looking for two Leasing Associates to join our team of talented real estate professionals. Reporting to the ­­Leasing Manager, this individual will have a unique opportunity to ­­­­play a key role in the residential leasing activities for a lease-up of 295 units at an upcoming building launch in Burnaby, BC. This role acts as a brand ambassador from the very first interaction we have with any prospective resident and contributes to elevating our leasing strategies.

What You'll Do

Leasing Inquiries and Prospecting:

  • Engage with high-priority or qualified leads, handling more in-depth discussions with prospective tenants to address specific needs, preferences, or complex questions that require expertise and market knowledge.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective tenants by personalizing their customer experience, ensuring a seamless leasing process.
  • Play a key role in maintaining accurate suite availability and pricing based on price tower and absorption schedule.

Suite Showings:

  • Conduct engaging and informative suite showings, catering to both in-person and virtual formats.
  • Highlight property features, amenities, community benefits, and the company's story to inspire confidence in leasing decisions.
  • Ensure prospects are fully confident in their decision to lease, focusing on converting leads into signed leases.

Lease Documentation and Resident Selection:

  • Review and approve suitable residents by reviewing tenancy applications in line with established criteria and affordable housing requirements, if applicable.
  • Generate lease documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policy, affordable housing agreements, and Residential Tenancy Act requirements.
  • Support Community Manager in coordinating move-in logistics and addressing new resident questions.

Leasing Performance:

  • Meet lease-up targets and goals set each month by the management team.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other data driven software to report on leasing progress, measuring and benchmarking the performance of lease-up process.
  • Assist in the creation of weekly reports, catering to internal and external stakeholders to provide wins, insights, high level feedback, and leasing performance relative to budget.

Market Intelligence and Reporting:

  • Collaborate in updating marketing channels to ensure that the building maintains a strong online presence, across various marketing channels for suite listings.
  • Collect and analyze market comparable data on a biweekly basis to identify trends and insights in the rental market.

What You Bring

  • Three (3) years of experience in a customer-facing role;
  • Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 9:30am-6:00pm;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and adapt to changing needs;
  • Ability to listen intently and work collaboratively to provide resident-centered solutions;
  • Familiarity with industry specific software platforms (i.e. Salesforce, DocuSign, Certn) will be considered an asset;
  • Experience in leasing, affordable housing, sales or property management will be considered an asset.

Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.
