The Organization

Based in the progressive Guildford area of Surrey, the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB) is an association of over 5,100 real estate professionals who live and work in the BC communities of North Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Abbotsford, and Mission. The FVREB marked its 100-year anniversary in 2021.

The IDEAL Candidate

We are looking for someone who thinks fast, types fast and can sustain high productivity while performing tasks within the MLS® Dept, and MLS® database, a current and comprehensive online listing system for relaying real estate property being offered for sale.

It goes without saying that you're a great team player who works well collaboratively and have a high level of personal and professional integrity while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

Being particularly focused on member service, the incumbent is instrumental in providing a positive, supportive customer service experience for members, while accurately collecting and posting subject property information, ensuring the information entered complies with board rules and that departmental systems, controls and practices are followed.

  • Collecting and accurately entering information in the MLS® database.
  • Accurately filing all documents in the document management system.
  • Providing key information to members.
  • Actively participate in and provide feedback on plans for updates to department processes.
  • Receive, consider, and communicate expressed needs and criticisms of MLS® users and subscribers, recommending constructive solutions and workarounds within overarching organizational principles.
  • Working with the other members of the team, to monitor the use of Rules, Forms, and Database, making recommendations around system and process improvements aimed at enriched user experience.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma, or diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of training and relevant work experience;
  • Not less than two (2) years of experience working in member services or customer support;
  • Demonstrated experience or acumen in dealing with customer support and conflict resolution;
  • Above-average prioritization, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Minimum 15,000 kph or 60 wpm.
  • Unwavering customer service orientation
  • Capable of intense and prolonged periods of focus; while maintaining a high level of accuracy and strong productivity / output;
  • Above-average relationship building, time management, and multitasking skills;
  • Above-average language skills, both written and oral
