Footprints is seeking an experienced and energetic administrative and operational professional to join our Head Office Team in a Security Operations and Communications Centre (SOCC) position.

  • Perform and monitor dispatch duties; excellent phone communication, scheduling employees, taking short-notice service requests, responding to questions, and initiating appropriate responses to requests
  • Complete a variety of complex and detail-oriented administrative tasks in support operations
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute various reports both internally and externally
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic file systems and operational equipment inventories
  • Complete data entry in a timely and accurate manner
  • Follow-up with and act as a liaison with various individuals, both internally and externally, at all levels of the organization with the highest level of customer service
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all company information, procedures, and investigations
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in dispatching
  • The ability to learn new things
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Security knowledge preferred
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to jump in and assist
  • Ability to be productive and efficient with limited supervision
  • Ability to work with precision and accuracy while demonstrating attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in an office environment with fluctuating volumes and demands
  • Ability to mitigate problems and find creative solutions
  • Strong and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask while prioritizing work
  • Valid BC Driver's License
  • Ability to safely perform the physical elements of the position, which includes lifting (< 10 KG), bending, crouching, and reaching
  • A Criminal Record Check is required
