THE ROLE

Our client is seeking for a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join their manufacturing team. You will work in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines, requiring extended periods of sitting at a computer and phone; specific responsibilities may vary by company and role.

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting data into our systems, ensuring records are maintained correctly, and assisting the production team with various data-related tasks. The position is located in Brantford, Ontario.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter data into our ERP/MRP system, including sales and/or production orders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including customer information, product specifications, and sales order status.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, and make corrections as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and materials, to ensure accurate and timely data exchange
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Perform other related duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a similar role
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
