E.S. Fox Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our Tiverton, Ontario based team.

The Payroll Clerk will ensure confidential accurate timesheet processing, site accounting, payroll to timeclock to billings reconciliations, and other payroll/billings functions, reporting, and clerical duties ranging from filing, asset tracking, and other project level administrative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Data entry into in-house accounting software and excel
• Maintains a knowledge of pertinent union collective agreement payment details
• Reconciling and submitting payroll reports to supervisor
• Administrative support to accounting department
• Filing as required
• Secure storage and confidential handling of information
• Assist with month end and year end procedures where necessary
• Other duties may be assigned at any given time based on the business trends/demands

Key Requirements, Experience, and Skills:

• To meet payroll deadlines, this position may require the flexibility to work on weekends and statutory holidays
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Numerically inclined
• Demonstrated speed and accuracy of computerized data input
• Upholding a high standard of confidentiality and mature conduct
• Payroll and accounting experience is an asset
• Good knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• OSSD Diploma
• College business or accounting diploma or University degree an asset
• High dependability and attendance. This is a 100% in-office position.
