Job DescriptionAs a Senior Project Manager, you will be involved in:
- Manage individual tasks throughout the design, procurement and construction process including submittals and RFI process.
- Transcribe meeting minutes and action items and drive each item to closure.
- Ensure project compliance with client's document controls and file specifications.
- Regular collaboration and coordination is required with internal resources, consultants, client stakeholders and general contractors/construction managers.
- Submittal approval management
- RFI processing
- Change order management
- Meeting coordination
- Reviewing and tracking schedule and work progress
- Administration of project observation reports
- Reporting
- Punch-list management
- Participation in managing commissioning
- Manage project close-out and handover documentation to operations
Client Relationship Management
- Works in partnership with clients to build a win-win relationship and can articulate the benefits achieved
- Balances the needs of different clients
- Builds relationships that extend beyond delivery activities
- Understands and shares the client's strategy and goals
- Contributes to development and closure of new business opportunities
Team Work:
- Oversees the activities of project team
- Ability to effectively collaborate with others
- Provides guidance, support, coaching and motivation to project team
- Leads by example
- Proactive and loves a challenge
- Delivers an exciting team vision, which inspires others to perform beyond their initial aspirations
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a similar field
- PMP is an asset
- Experience as Owners representative is an asset
- Ground up construction experience as well as TI experience
- Schedule Management is an asset
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Project or P6.
- Good with numbers, technology, and web-based data platforms.
- Great communication skills with various stakeholders
Additional Information
The base salary range for this full-time role is $ 100 000 - $ 130 000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications
