Frontline is having the busiest season yet and we are excited to keep expanding! New trucks have just been added to our fleet (with more on the way) which means we need more crews! We're looking for hardworking and experienced Temporary Workplace Signers (TWS) to join our team. In this exciting role, you would be responsible for managing traffic through construction sites in and around Halifax/Dartmouth and surrounding HRM areas. This is the perfect job for someone who loves working outdoors, on their feet and as a team! We even provide transportation for our employees to and from work!
We offer:
- Competitive wages starting at $19.00/hour for those with no drivers license.
- Wages starting at $20.50/hour for applicants who will be responsible for operating our company vehicles.
- Drivers must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License, clean drivers abstract, and no "N" or "R" on your license.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set-up safe work zones using traffic cones, barrels and barricades.
- Plan detailed traffic control solutions based on customer needs and safe work practices.
- Responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists through work areas.
- Monitor the safe work zones and correct compliance and personnel issues as they arise.
- Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
- Complete required administration and safety paperwork.
- Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.
- Follow instructions given by Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, and Management.
Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.
- Great communication skills and willing to work in a diverse team environment.
- Must be able to show leadership and good decision-making abilities.
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
- Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.
- Required ability to lift up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.
- Valid TCP Certification.
- Valid TWS Certification.
- Valid Class 5 License an asset.
