Roles & Responsibilities

  • Generate invoices and process credits
  • Submit invoices into customer portals
  • Apply customer payments and monitor credit memos
  • Reconcile missing payments and investigate discrepancies
  • Monitor the shared email inbox
  • Various month-end reconciliations
  • Back-up for other Accounts Receivable Clerk tasks (collections, taking credit card payments over the phone, setting up new customer credit accounts etc.)
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably with processing invoices
  • Excellent time management and organization skills to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in invoicing, applying payments and reconciliations
  • The ability to adapt to process changes and various accounting software and tools
  • The ability to work well in a team-based environment and collaborate with colleagues from various departments
  • Ability to analyze and investigate missing payments or payment discrepancies, with persistence in finding and correcting errors
  • Effective written and verbal communication for interacting with customers, and other departments
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications for tasks such as spreadsheet analysis (Excel), document creation (Word), and email communication (Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel for job-related purposes, as needed.
  • Experience submitting invoices into customer portals.

Other Information

  • This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm)
  • Location is open to candidates from our Ile des Chenes, Manitoba office or our Burlington office.
  • Wage will depend on the qualifications of the candidate.
