Classic LifeCare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide Antibiotic IV Therapy to clients, including the administration of daily antibiotics via a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) line.

Compensation:

• Rate: $70.00 per visit
• Each visit is expected to take no more than 1 hour

Shift Details:

• Visit hours are flexible based on your availability for morning visits, 7 days a week, for a duration of 5-6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Antibiotic IV Therapy to clients as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Manage and maintain PICC lines, ensuring proper care and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor clients for adverse reactions and promptly address any complications.
• Educate clients and their families on PICC line care and antibiotic therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all clients.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements:

• Current registration with the BCCNM, along with up-to-date CPR certification.
• Wound care experience is an asset but not required.
• With specific experience in IV therapy and PICC line management.
• Strong understanding of antibiotic therapy and its implications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
