Job Title: Document Control (Contract)
Location: Burnaby BC
Duration: Anticipated 1-2 months
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented administrator with strong MS Office and MS Access knowledge to assist our non-profit association client on a contract basis. This role is crucial in reviewing and enhancing their data management capabilities and ensuring improved data storage and location and efficiency.
Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and improving the existing workflow and document storage systems and suggesting and implementing system improvements. This role requires a strong understanding of workflow processes, MS Office, MS Access, data migration strategies, and ability to manage and communicate change in systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze the current system to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement plans to enhance system performance, usability, and functionality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide recommendations for system improvements.
  • Document and communicate system changes, enhancements, and migration processes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users during and after system changes.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
  • Manage change effectively to minimize disruption and ensure smooth transitions.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with MS Access, MS Office to a high level, and solid understanding of efficient information storage
  • Experience in change management and process improvement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
